A viral notice claiming Roblox will shut down on September 1, 2025, due to safety concerns and user demand has sparked panic.

A California man has been arrested for abducting a 10-year-old child he reportedly met on social media apps Roblox and Discord, authorities said Wednesday.

Roblox is now rolling out the ability for developers to create subscriptions that they can sell in their experiences. Users won’t be able to buy subscriptions until sometime in November, however.
