YouTube will begin guessing users’ ages using artificial intelligence on Wednesday, as part of an effort to prevent kids from accessing inappropriate content online.

The program, called Wasteful and Inappropriate Services Reduction or WISeR, will contract with outside companies who will use AI to make the determinations on prior authorization.
