Google has released the source code for its tastily titled Ice Cream Sandwich release of Android 4.0, enabling manufacturers to begin to customize it for their handsets.

With Android 5.0 debuting on the Nexus 9 and Nexus Player, Google has pushed out the newest Android source code to the public Android Open Source Project (AOSP) repository.
