Through the San Francisco 49ers' first week and a half of practices, there are concerns about depth and the hope that first-year and inexperienced players can step into big roles.

On Tuesday, the NFL sent a memo out to its teams stating that the league is banning ammonia inhalants, colloquially known as smelling salts, effective immediately. While 49ers star Fred Warner was being interviewed live on NFL Network, Kittle barged in to effectively break the news about the new ban — and have his version of Festivus in August.
