习近平指出，中国和尼泊尔山水相连，友好交往源远流长。中尼建交70年来，无论国际和地区形势如何变化，两国始终相互尊重、平等相待、互利合作，树立了不同社会制度和大小国家间友好相处的典范。近年来，中尼关系健康稳定发展，政治互信持续增强，共建“一带一路”及各领域合作日益拓展，中尼面向发展与繁荣的世代友好的战略合作伙伴关系不断深化。

赵乐际表示，中国全国人大和瑞士联邦议会长期保持友好关系，为中瑞关系发展和务实合作作出积极贡献。双方要进一步加强立法机构友好交往，交流互鉴立法、监督等工作经验，及时制定、修改和批准有利于两国合作的法律文件，在各国议会联盟等多边机制内加强沟通协作。
