Facebook has updated a data transfer tool that makes it easier to quit the platform. Here's how to use it.

Facebook's data tool now lets you transfer notes and posts to Google Docs, Blogger and Wordpress.

As of August, you can also directly transfer your posts, notes, photos and events from the site to Google Docs, Blogger, WordPress.com, Photobucket and Google Calendar.

If you want to export your Facebook posts for any reason (I’ll leave it to you to decide why), you can now dump these and your notes to a Google Doc, Blogger, or WordPress.
