With over 100 million active users, Roblox has become one of the most popular online gaming platforms for kids and teenagers.

The students were participating in something called the Tik Tok "Orbeez Challenge," in which students use airsoft or BB guns to shoot BBs or pellets at other students, according to authorities.

The challenge started on Tik Tok with students taking fake guns to school, recording their interactions with other students and uploading the video.

Roblox has a new face-tracking feature, which allows avatars to move their lips mirroring the player’s. Players are using it to make memes and viral videos on TikTok.

It has several school districts and parents taking precautions. The nationwide challenge calls on students to engage in violent behavior at school on December 17th.
