Police say a 37-year-old man groomed an Iowa teen he met on game platform Roblox, then drove her Tennessee, his home state, to sexually assault her.

It was determined that the suspect met up with the child and transported her 135 miles away from Wayne, New Jersey to Bear, Delaware without her parents knowing.

The girl told authorities she met a guy on Roblox “who acted like he was her age,” records show. It started innocently enough, with the girl trading pet animals in an online game, records show.

A 10-year-old girl was kidnapped by a man who messaged her on Roblox and Discord. She was found hundreds of miles from her home the next day.
