Press "Alt-X" to open Internet Explorer's Tools menu. Click "View Downloads" to open the Downloads window. Click the link in the "Location" column beside a download to open its folder.

The downloaded file will automatically be sent to the selected downloads folder. Now, open the downloads section by heading to the downloads icon in the top right corner of your browser window.
