On smart TVs and those without Wi-Fi, you can stream your Android phone or tablet screen on the TV through screen mirroring, Google Cast, a third-party app, or by linking it with a cable.

TCL smart TVs offer a lot of functionality for the money, but they can occasionally run into some hiccups when connecting to other devices, like your phone.

To connect to your TV, open the Home app on your mobile device and select the Chromecast device you want to use. At the bottom of the screen you'll see a button labeled Cast my screen -- tap it.
