Open a PowerPoint presentation. Select the slide you want to add notes to. Click "Notes" from the options in the bottom right corner. Type your notes in the box that appears below the slide.
To edit a footer in your PowerPoint slides and include citations or notes, you'll need to access the Header & Footer menu from the Insert tab.
One useful feature of PowerPoint allows you to add notes to your slides that an audience will never see. As slides scroll by, you can glance at your laptop and stay aware of important details.
