Roblox is introducing a new voice chat feature called “Spatial Voice,” starting with an invitation-only beta for select developers, the gaming platform announced on Thursday.
Spatial Voice is active in Roblox now, and players who have verified that they are over 13 years of age will be able to turn this Roblox voice chat feature on or off (more on that later).
The company is inviting an initial group of 5,000 developers, all 13 and older, to try out the new spatial voice chat capabilities in a custom-built Roblox community space.
That indicates that that user is also using voice chat. Note that even if your account is already age-verified, you'll have to manually enable Spatial Voice Chat, as it is disabled by default.
