Excel has hundreds of key terms, and some are more intuitive than others. Understanding some of the jargon will go a long way to helping you understand other aspects of the program.

Most function-key shortcuts also work in Google Sheets, but you may need to enable compatible spreadsheet shortcuts from the Help menu to access some familiar Excel shortcuts.
