Police in Pennsylvania are trying to find the owner of a python found in the student pickup area outside of a school.

The ball python was recovered at the student drop-off area outside Dauphin County Technical School on Wednesday, according to Lower Paxton Township Police.

A 4-foot long ball python was spotted near a playground Friday afternoon in Greenbelt, Maryland. The exotic reptile was spotted on a sidewalk directly outside of the city's public works building.

Residents of St. Augustine's Prairie Lakes neighborhood found more than 20 ball pythons roaming their neighborhood in July alone, including under car hoods.
